So hello everyone, thank you for all of your support so far on our new journey! We are very humbled and so proud of your feedback and encouragement on our business venture.
Maybe some questions and answers on how we began our new & exciting venture would be helpful?
Who are you?
We are Cam and Jules. We've been friends for as long as we can remember and that is over 30 years now (even though we are both still 21!). We first met when Jules came to work with me in Middlesbrough in a small company offering desktop services to the people of Yorkshire. I showed her the ropes of course and we just hit it off. From there we've been firm and best friends ever since.
Last year during the pandemic, as many people did, we had some ups and downs with work life and as a result, The Stripey Sausage was born!
Why a Pet Accessories business?
We have both been dog parents for many years, and throughout that time, the care and attention our pooches have received has been endless and this has cost us many pennies lol, but we wouldn't change it for the world. We have always loved buying lovely and different things for our fur babies.
Our husbands may say we spend way too much on our dogs, we probably do, but in our defence, they never answer us back (well maybe sometimes) and always do as they are told (sometimes) haha!
We wanted to champion UK business entrepreneurs and sell dog accessories that were well made, beautiful in design and high quality. We hope you'll agree we've begun that journey with our current offering.
